I wonder if you painted the paper areas with a white glue/water mixture if that would solve the stitching issue? It is how I have been able to use tissue paper in my work with extensive stitching. Or you could leave it just as is!!andiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02912428658168635411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-79277304334444615.post-65921826754644549682015-09-07T03:58:31.101-07:002015-09-07T03:58:31.101-07:00Wow, awesome and so adventurous to try it in new m...Wow, awesome and so adventurous to try it in new media on such a large scale.Sue Dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14185984017137358917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-79277304334444615.post-39681139366269856152015-09-07T02:31:16.481-07:002015-09-07T02:31:16.481-07:00It’s beautiful, Martha! I admire your courage in using them in your work. It’s very challenging to combine two totally different fibers, but the result looks good! My oldest son is a bicycle fan. This work reminds me of a photo of bicycle that he showed me before. They looked quite similar! I will show it to him. Anyway, I think it’s already a perfect work. You have made impossible possible.
